YYC Soundscapes: In Tune with Motion is an interactive experience where your movements become music. Step into a motion-capture environment and help create a live soundtrack inspired by the rhythms of Calgary—from the hum of the CTrain to the sounds of everyday city life.

Guided by professional musicians performing in real time, participants will explore sound, design, and technology together in a playful and immersive setting. Each session takes participants on a creative journey through a “day in Calgary,” with evolving sounds and visuals that shift from morning to evening.

No musical or technical experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to move, listen, and play. Whether you join in or simply take it all in, YYC Soundscapes invites you to experience the city in a whole new way.
