Public Art 101

A presentation that will explain how Public Art is commissioned and funded in Calgary, by Calgary Arts Development.  We will show how the act of listening and responding impacts the project and programming delivery in our Public Art Program.  A history of Public Art in Calgary, and overview of how we design delivery to serve the public, and a peak of some exciting new projects with be provided.  The presentation will be presented by members of our team and may include contributions from artists that we've worked with in the past.  There will also be time for an audience Q&A.
