Nature Through the Noise
Beyond a Walk in the Park

About This Event
Nature broadcasts on a different frequency. When we learn to listen, we unlock practical benefits that carry over into every aspect of our lives—from enhanced creativity to a profound sense of groundedness. Led by Tracey Conn, a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide (ANFT, NFTC) this experience is designed to help you find a deeper connection to the world around you by noticing the things you usually walk right past. Tracey will lead you through a series of "invitations"—gentle prompts designed to shift your physiological state and sharpen your sensory awareness.
We invite you to step away from the digital hum and the high-stress hustle for a curated, immersive walk at Prince’s Island Park for a deliberate recalibration of your mind and body.
Accessibility Note: This event is a guided forest therapy walk through Prince's Island Park, featuring varied terrain including paved pathways, natural ground surfaces, and landscaped areas that may present challenges for wheelchair users or those using walking aids. Weather conditions on the day may further affect surface accessibility. The park is accessible via the RiverWalk pathway and is approximately a 10-minute walk from Sunnyside LRT Station (Red Line) or City Hall LRT (Blue Line/ Red Line). Attendees arriving by vehicle should note that the ongoing closure of Eau Claire Mall and active surrounding construction may significantly affect drivability and parking availability in the area. Accessible washrooms are available within the park. Attendees with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to contact the organizers in advance to confirm route and meeting point details. The specific meeting point for this event will be updated soon.
