Beauty and the Brain
Understanding Our Perception of Beauty and its Impact on the Built Environment Through Neuroaesthetics

About This Event
Whether we are aware of it or not, we are constantly experiencing, surveying, and judging the world around us. But do we really know what is happening when we deem something to be beautiful, bland, or uncomfortable?
Join us for an interactive introduction to neuroaesthetics, the emerging field at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, art, and design. Discover how the brain processes and responds to beauty, what science is revealing about our aesthetic biases, and how these insights can transform the way we design spaces to evoke emotion, enhance well-being, and influence human behaviour.
Together we will explore how to harness the power of Neuroaesthetics to inspire and inform design decisions to create aesthetically pleasing and engaging experiences for the built environment.
